    • included 12,562 people with acute non-ST elevation coronary syndrome
    • reported significant reductions in cardiovascular events
  • CHARISMA trial
    • included 15,603 patients at least 45 years old with clinically evident cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors
    • reported significant effects for secondary prevention but NOT primary prevention
