Listen up, Airborne. The following is a summary of FM five-seven-thirty, chapter three, section two - Advanced Cover Mechanics. A successful Airborne soldier will always seek out and attack from cover. Aim down the sights of your weapon to increase accuracy. Peek around corners to keep your position concealed. If under heavy enemy fire, stay low and maneuver to a new position. Peek up, over cover, to survey the battlefield and exploit enemy positions. These principles, along with judicious use of advanced tactics, will ensure survival and success in the field.

Nobody ever won a battle by standing still. Controlled sprinting is an important skill, one that you earn through training. When your cover is blown, remain crouched and sprint to a better position. You’ll maintain your original stance when you reach your destination. Use direct fire to suppress your enemies and allow for safe movement. Less experienced enemies will remain suppressed longer than veterans. A vertical affordance is often your best position. Use your ability to jump to find vertical flanks. These principles, along with judicious use of advanced tactics, will ensure survival and success in the field.

Training - Making Things Go "Boom"
Attention, Airborne. The following is a summary of FM five-fifty three, chapter three, section eleven - Advanced Grenade Usage. The hand grenade can be a paratrooper’s best friend in battle, provided he uses it wisely. Being an indirect fire weapon, you must use the right|strength and height of throw in order to eliminate the target. Once you arm the grenade, you have just a moment to get rid of it before it detonates. Listen to the fuse; if you wait and throw it at just the right time, you can eliminate hard-to-reach enemies with an air burst. You will have three grenade types to use in battle. The Mark two fragmentation grenade and German stick grenade both have explosive power to take out multiple enemies at once. The Gammon grenade packs an extra punch, and has tank busting capability. A well-trained paratrooper will pitch grenades against walls and corners to flush out hidden targets. These principles, along with judicious use of advanced tactics, will ensure survival and success in the field.

Listen up, Airborne. The following is a summary of FM five-twenty, chapter seventeen, section two - Advanced Sniper Rifle Usage. A sniper rifle can be the most deadly weapon in a paratrooper’s arsenal, but it must be used with patience and skill in order to be effective. Some scopes allow you to zoom in on your target. The more you zoom in, the more accurate you can be, but it may be difficult to keep the weapon steady. Effective snipers squeeze the trigger slowly. Don’t just pull. When you squeeze the trigger, you’ll steady the weapon and your shot will be true. These principles, along with judicious use of advanced tactics, will ensure survival and success in the field.
聞くんだ、空挺隊。これはFM 5-020の第1章第2項 - 狙撃銃の効果的な使用方法 - から抜粋したものである。狙撃銃はある意味では空挺隊が使用する武器の中で最も強力な武器と言えるが、これを扱うには技術と忍耐力が必要である。スコープの種類によっては照準の倍率を上げることができる。倍率を上げれば上げるほど正確に捉える事ができるが、その分照準を安定させることが難しくなる。優秀な狙撃手ほど引き金はゆっくりかつ慎重に引くものである。よって、引き金は乱暴に引いてはならない。引き金に指を掛けたら照準がぶれない様にしっかりと安定させろ。このような原則を踏まえた上で効果的な戦術を駆使すれば、戦場で生き残り、そして目標を達成できる確率をさらに向上させることができるであろう。
Operation Varsity エンディングムービー
Colonel Scott Webb, after action report. March twenty-seventh, nineteen forty-five. The war is over. Once a mighty force, the German army is now crumbling around us. I believe it is because of the tenacity, the skill and the guts of the Airborne that America has triumphed. The dedication and supreme sacrifice exhibited by these soldiers makes me proud, and honored, to be a member of the Airborne.
